ENDOWMENT FUND
HOKEHANKIST MEMORIAL SERVICE
Honoring Our Loved Ones
Through Faith, Prayer, and Remembrance
St. Mary Armenian Church warmly invites all parishioners, families, and friends to join us for a special Endowment Fund Hokehankist Memorial Service on Sunday, December 6, at the conclusion of Soorp Badarak.
This meaningful service will be dedicated to the prayerful remembrance of our departed loved ones, especially those whose memory and generosity are honored through the St. Mary Armenian Church Endowment Fund.
In the sacred tradition of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Hokehankist (Requiem) Service offers us an opportunity to gather as one family in Christ, lifting our prayers to Almighty God for the peaceful repose of the souls of the faithful departed. It is a time to remember with gratitude those who have gone before us, whose faith, love, dedication, and generosity continue to touch our lives and strengthen our parish community.
Our Lord Jesus Christ reminds us:
“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” — John 11:25
These comforting words remind us that death is not the end, but that through Christ, we are given the promise of eternal life. Although our loved ones may no longer be physically among us, their memory lives on in our hearts, in our prayers, and in the lasting blessings they have entrusted to future generations.
The St. Mary Armenian Church Endowment Fund represents a beautiful legacy of faith, generosity, and commitment to the future of our beloved church. Through the kindness and thoughtful gifts of those who have supported this sacred mission, their legacy continues to help sustain the spiritual life of our parish for generations to come.
Let us come together in prayer and remembrance, honoring the lives of our departed loved ones, giving thanks for their lasting legacy, and asking our Heavenly Father to grant eternal rest and peace to their souls.
Following the Hokehankist Service, a Memorial Fellowship will be held, offering our parish family and friends an opportunity to gather in love, share cherished memories, and strengthen the bonds of faith and fellowship that unite our community.
All are warmly invited to participate in this special day of remembrance, prayer, and fellowship.
