FIRST DAY OF SUNDAY SCHOOL
Join Us for the First Day of Sunday School – September 14th!
We are excited to welcome all families—returning and new—to another joyful year of Sunday School at our church! Our first day of classes will be Sunday, September 14th, and we warmly invite all parents and students to join us for a special and meaningful start to the year.
This year, our opening coincides with one of the five major feast days of the Armenian Church: the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, which will be celebrated with a special Great Antasdan Service following the Divine Liturgy.
The morning will begin with a welcome and introduction session at 10:30 A.M., where students and parents will meet their teachers, connect with classmates, and learn about the curriculum and special events planned for the year ahead. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, build community, and set the tone for a successful school year.
Afterwards, the students and their families will attend the Badarak to begin the year with spiritual guidance and blessing, and to take part in the beautiful Antasdan Service, led by Der Voskan. This traditional service blesses the four corners of the world and will serve as a special moment to introduce our families and students to Der Voskan, and begin our year with faith and hope.
We encourage all families to register in advance here, so we can best prepare for your child’s experience. We are looking forward to a wonderful year of faith, learning, and friendship.
